• Moved to Huddersfield, Yorkshire at age 5 where she lived until age 17.
• Her father, a police officer, was sent to train in Bermuda shortly before Headey was born.
• Was ranked #64 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2007 list.
• The first film she ever saw was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) as a child.
• Used to be a vegetarian for many years.
• Used to have two hamsters and some gold fish. She 'accidentally' boiled one of the fish as a child because she wanted to give them a big jacuzzi.
• Has been doing yoga since she worked in India, shooting The Jungle Book (1994).
• Boxing is one of her hobbies.
• Met and started dating actor Jason Flemyng on the set of The Jungle Book (1994). They split after being together nine years and they're still good friends.

• Met her husband Peter Paul Loughran, when she attended a friend's wedding. He's born in Northern Ireland and the two tied the knot in Belfast on May 19, 2007.

• Thinks The Brothers Grimm (2005) was hell to shoot and a horrendous experience, mostly because the director Terry Gilliam wanted another actress for the part and apparently didn't treat Lena well.
• Has a younger brother named Tim who is an air steward.
• Her favorite iPhone game is 'Fruit Ninja' and it's said that she holds a score of 4,552.
• Loves the TV Series Coronation Street (1960–) and one of her friends writes on it.
• Gave birth to her first child, a son named Wylie Elliot Loughran on April 1, 2010.
• Used to play a lot of sports in school.
• Would love to do some theatre work but wishes she could sing so she could be in a musical!
• Said that if she could be more like any of the characters she played it would be Angelica in The Brothers Grimm (2005). Because she's a tomboy just like her and she likes that shes physically free - and she also loves to horse ride!
